Hayley Orrantia is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Many people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. According her, is first thing she loves. She started playing with it when she was nine years old. At the age 12, she took the music seriously enough that she began studying professionally. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded the album with songs at age 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet has Hispanic origins. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic roots despite in English only, and did not live in Mexico. In order to maintain her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs using the language. One of her attempts was an original Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere Season of The X Factor. Orrantia received four "yeses" from the judges in the Seattle live auditions after being selected from her YouTube submission. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. But, three other women singers and she were put together to audition the rest of her music. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
