Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese heritage and was born in Vietnam. Although the family departed Oklahoma and lived in a variety of areas, she was educated in Tokyo, Japan. The actress was a part of local theatre productions during this period and became a fashion model for the Japanese business. Olivia moved back in Los Angeles after the family's relocation in this part of the United States. She pursued her dream of being an actress. Her acting journey began by playing a minor part.
