Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). Her family was an artistic family from New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. When she was assistant to photographers, she turned her attention to acting and modeling. In her first two films, she was recognized and was awarded the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw became an international celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female at the box office in history. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
